Cutting and pasting

Postby murdoch » 08 Sep 2012 17:03

Probably obvious - and, if so, apologies - but I'm new to VLan and video editing and can't find how to cut (and, if necessary paste) sections. With audio it's trivially easy: I find (perhaps having zoomed in to the wave form) the start and finish of the relevant section and just cut it out, optionally pasting it somewhere else or perhaps inserting and/or mixing something from a different file. Where can I find the information to do this sort of thing in Vlan?

TIA, M

Thanks. I did wonder about that - what would you suggest instead?
