STB Amino 140 and key's remaping

Postby AstroLab » 29 Feb 2012 09:14

Hi to all!
I have the question about remaping of the keys in STB Amino 140.
There is a problem, when i try to remap channel's keys on the RC.
This is the javaScript code example of my key's remaping

Code: Select all

ASTB.WithChannels(1); ASTB.SetChannel(0, "udp://239.99.64.7:1234"); ASTB.SaveChannels();
After this code had run, nothing changed on the RC.
I checked the file of the channels "chnls.txt". This file contains a string "00: udp://239.99.64.7:1234".
Can enybody help me with this problem?
Thanks.

Try

Code: Select all

ASTB.SetChannel(0, "igmp://239.99.64.7:1234");
To view the Stream with VLC use udp://@239.99.64.7:1234.

If that doesnt help, please provide more information on how you try to edit the channels, do you use a HTML-File or do you edit the channels.txt directly?

Hi,

You said you are trying to 'remap the RC keys' but what you have shown is just the channels file on the STB. How this is treated depends on where your browser is pointed.

With the Amino 140 product there are several ways to create a channel line up but they all need more than just an entry in the chnls.txt file.

There is actually a graphical channel lineup management application for that product, or you can control the channel line up completely via a web page. So depending on whether you want different channel line ups for different STBs, or just want to make the lineup on a server and then point blank Opera builds to it there are several options.

Whoever you bought the STB from should be able to provide you with them - just ask them for the "channel zapper postbuild pack".
