since I'd like to view DVB-T on my laptop with VLC (and in order to prepare a m3u playlist before going on vacation), I wonder if anybody in this forum knew where I could find what seems to be called Service-ID (SID) numbers for the particular TV "stations/channels/programs" contained in a "bouquet" (as they say in German).
An Example: For the transmitter "Gaisberg" in Austria (and probably for most of the transmitters in the world) on Wikipedia one can easily retrieve information such as:
MUX A channel 32 (562 MHz)
ORF 1, ORF 2 Salzburg, ORF 2 Oberösterreich, ATV
However, in order to distinguish between the four different tv-"stations" transmitting on channel 32 while accessing the signal with VLC, one needs additional information - the Service-ID -for the creation of m3u-playlist that would look like this eventually
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF: ORF1
#EXTVLCOPT:program=10101
dvb-t://frequency=562000000
#EXTINF: ORF2 Salzburg
#EXTVLCOPT:program=10107
dvb-t://frequency=562000000
#EXTINF: ORF 2 Oberösterreich
#EXTVLCOPT:program=10127
dvb-t://frequency=562000000
#EXTINF: ATV
#EXTVLCOPT:program=10120
dvb-t://frequency=562000000
