Streaming online streaming audio for windows media server?

Hey everyone. I'm in the search for a method of serving streaming audio from online stations over a windows media server.
I have looked around, and nothing short of looping line-out/line-in on the sound card seems like it may be the only method.
Just taking some far reaches and seeing if anyone on the videolan forums here just may know..
