How to run other shell commands using telnet interface

Postby himanshugupta28 » 12 Feb 2009 09:54

Hi

I am building a streaming server for our LAN.
I need to execute some of the shell commands ( or run a script) that are triggered when some schedule is invoked in telnet interface. Is there any way a script can be executed when we are in telnet Interface.

The telnet interface is only use to give order to vlc and not to access to any kind of shell.
