Newbie :: Help with website video question

I do freelance web design and a client of mine has asked me if I could do a video site for them. It is fairly basic, however what is troubling me is the video part that they want. The user will access a page that has a video frame on it which will play random videos from a folder on the host server. I have tried looking into javascript, actionscript for flash with nothing that makes any sense to me. They don't need a play button, stop, etc. You basically get whatever videos play at random. I am not sure if this site is going to help me out with this, but they sent me an email with a link to here and so i sit and write.

Perhaps you could either explain to me what to do, or point me in the right direction. I thank you in advance for reading and possibly getting me to the right place. I'd appreciate any input you have. If you need more info, I can try to elaborate if need be.
