Hello,
I have downloaded a video rar file: part01.rar part02.rar etc. It doesn't have sound on vlc. Can anyone help on this. Greatly appreciated. Thanks!
If you installed it then yes, it can be used whenever (not sure what you mean?). If you go to "Tools >> Options..." then you can associate it with different file formats. Also, if you click on the "Plugins" tab in Options and click on the "Options..." button then you can customise the context menus (when you right-click on a file) for supported formats. However, does 7zip constant run on my pc?
As far as I know 7-Zip only runs when it is executed - no background processes (so shouldn't affect RAM unless you are using it).Sorry I guess what I was asking if 7zip is a ram hogg however its not important.
- No, as j-b said you would need to compile VLC with AMR audio support since VLC doesn't have it by default (licensing issues). But I so have another problem which my 3g2 file video plays on Vlc but no sound. I dont think 7zip will do the job?
