Hi, I am new, and a question: using VLC as streaming proxy ?

Hi everyone.
I am fairly new to VLC, and I am mainly using it to listen to Radio Paradise, http://www.radioparadise.com/
Others in my company listen to that channel too, so I thought about using VLC as a proxy streamer to preserve Internet bandwidth. I have somehow succeed in doing so. But I it seems I can't get it to just "re-stream" (without transcoding or sampling).

As an example of stream I try to redistribute is this http://207.200.96.231:8004 (64k AAC)

I am currently using VLC 1.1 on Windows 7.
Once I have the right settings, I want to install VLC on a linux box in the server room to serve us all : )

How do I set up up VLC to serve the above stream, without VLC trying to resample it resulting in in quality loss ?

Any help as links to a useful FAQ or something about this topic would be greatly appreciated.
