The VideoLAN Forums

I am a newbie to videolan, however I am having a pproblem. I am able to stream video from my LINUX fedora core 3 computer to my Windows XP computer, however I cannot stream the same file from the WINDOWS XP system to the LINUX system, Does anyone have any idea what might cause this? I am using vlc 0.8.1 on both computers.

never mind, it was the Fedora firewall, I added the correct port to IPTABLES and it works.
