Segmentation faults when starting to stream - ALWAYS

Postby OllieJ » 30 Apr 2005 11:25

Hi all,

where can I check for reasons and remedies if I keep getting segmentation faults right after streaming is to start. This happens with
mpeg2 files captured from DVB, MVCD mpeg files, and most likely with lotsa other files. This is what I got with -vv:
...
[00000336] ffmpeg encoder debug: libavcodec initialized (interface 4747 )
[00000336] ffmpeg encoder debug: found encoder MPEG-2 Video

[00000350] ffmpeg private debug: libavcodec already initialized
[00000104] main module debug: using video filter2 module "ffmpeg"
Segmentation fault

Whats is the problem?
