VLC able to send a FLV stream to a CDN ?

Postby elesouef » 25 Mar 2011 13:50

Hello,

I have VLC working really great to stream from a video card in FLV format.

Now, I'm facing an unattended issue : the live stream is seen by more people and it loads the bandwitdh too much.

My question is : Is VLC able to send a working FLV stream to a CDN where clients will connect ?

Thanks for your answers and experiences.

Emmanuel.

That would depend on what the CDN expects as input, really

As I did not contact any CDN, I take your ideas :-)

Are there some docs about this ?

As I did not contact any CDN, I have no clues.

Thanks for your help.

What could be the requirements to ask to CDNs ?
