FLV streaming works on windows, fails in Unix

Postby nereikianieko » 17 Dec 2010 14:52

This works well in windows:
#http{mux=ffmpeg{mux=flv},dst=:8080/}

But in Unix (Centos, vlc 0.99) fails.

Where is problem? I've tried many many options, but all failed in Unix.

In other mux formats (ts) unix streaming works well.

As JB implied. You are probably using more recent versions of VLC and FFmpeg on Windows than on CentOS. It should be no wonder then that you experience more bugs and limitations on CentOS.
