Subtitles and two audio channels in livestream

Postby bubiman » 03 Mar 2010 01:14

Hello,

we used VLC+Icecast to stream a 2 days event last weekend in Theora/Vorbis and it worked realy nice. To prepare the videostream for the next event I wanne ask if these two features are possible:

1) Two Audio Channels
We want to mux two different audio stream (raw audio and a commented one) into the stream Is this possible with VLC? How do I add a secound live audio to the stream?

2) Live Subtitles
We want to integrate a live subtitle to the stream to inform viewer what point is currently active in the discussion. How can I change the the subtitle while streaming (if possible at all).

Thanks everyone (especially Rémi Denis-Courmont)
