Streaming from IP camera to web page

I am using a level one IP camera model FCS-5030 and vlc 0.9 on openSuse 11.1 to stream the video feed to a web page. I can do this successfully, however many times if I have to stop the vlc stream and restart it, it takes me a few tries to get it going again, the server just shows similar to this:

the code I am using is: sudo -u vlc vlc -vv rtsp://204.248.176.212:1025/cgi-bin/live.sdp --sout '#standard{access=http,mux=asf,dst=:8080}'

I cannot seem to figure out why this is happening. Any help is greatly appreciated.

No body has seen this I assume? When connecting to the stream, it just sits there with that buffer at the same % and will not continue. I sometimes have to restart vlc 10 times before it will buffer all the way.

Hi bhughesiii, sorry for asking instead of answering your doubts ....but me i am just a newbie here.
I am interested in exactly what you are doing, and so i'd like to know what is your arch.
I mean, the 2 machines involved, what's on each of them ?.
a simple desktop-machine connected with an IP cam wich feeds a stream (using vlc) to another machine with something like a red5 or wowza or whichever streaming server?
If you could write me just a microHowto of this I would really appreciate it. I've spent more than 2 weeks trying lots of different things and still messed, do not know
if vlc has to serve rtpm or rtsp feed , do not know what at each point? ..... bufffff completely lost and desperate at the moment.
