Hi all,

I am currently streaming a microphone with VLC it is pretty awesome :P Except for the delay (about 1 second). But I seem to only be able to do this from windows or linux. I can't seem to get my mac to open the Mic for a capture device it only allows me to select my iSight which doesn't include it's audio.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this in mac os?

I just installed VLC 1.0.5 (Goldeneye) and have the same problem. There doesn't appear to be anyway to select an audio capture device. Anybody have any knowledge if or when this will be supported? Thanks!

Hi,
I am trying to stream the audio from my microphone and I cannot do it. Can you explain me how did you manage to do it please? It works perfectly with the video from the webcam, but for some reason, I cannot do it with the audio from a microphone. I guess the streaming/transcoding option are different.
Note: I am streaming from VLC 1.0.1 Goldeneye installed on windows XP.
