Hardware decoding VLC stream.

Postby wndsrf1 » 20 Oct 2009 17:00

Is it possible to decode a VLC stream with a hardware decoder? I have an MPEG4 Teleste decoder and I tried it with no success. Maybe it is not possible. Any input is appreciated.

If you write a plugin for it, yes.

I contacted the hardware vendor but it is unwilling to write a plugin. Would that be the only way to make this work?
