First post here

I can watch tv on my computer with the program that came with my tv turner card and have been able to record programs with windows movie player but when I try to watch tv on my computer with VLC the signal is inverted and upsidedown. the sound is good.

I would really apresiate any help in fixing this problem, because i can stream to my laptop, but since the image is inverted in the original PC the picture in my laptop is also inverted.

Thanks in advance for your help

Try to use the "invert" and "transform" filters (maybe you already turned them on by accident ?)

./vlc --filter transform,invert ----transform-type hflip

I'm having the same p[roblem .. I'm using Windows system. Please help me. I have tried setting [on\off] the flip thing(on the server). It still did not work.

I have set the flip in the client and it worked fine. but i need to set ity from my seterver since most of my clients use windows media player.

And everytim i start the VLC i have to do all the settings again. is there any shortcut.

I applied the Flip transformation. It displays correctly in my system But with the same setting it displays as inverted in my streaming.

My settings are as follows

Video
Enable Video
Skip Frames

Filters
Nothing is ticked (i have tried with ticking the transformation but the streamed output is still inverted.)

output modes
Default

Stream Format
Video Standars Pal_B
Frame Rate 25
Colour space : YUY2
Output size 320X240

TV Tuner :Prop
Channel 60
Country 91 (India i suppose)
Tuning mode TV
Video Standara : Pal_B
Input 1. Cable

Crossbar
Input 0:Video tuner In
Output 0: Video Decoder Out
