Will multicast clients be in sync?

Sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum. I'm not sure where to post.

If I do a multicast stream, will all the clients be in sync? I mean really in sync, to the frame. If not, how close?

Also, can the clients be part of a video wall, can they take in the stream and then play only their part of the video?

Hi
I don't think all the clients will be exactly sync. Network issues and buffering will bring some delay. Try it, you will have the right answer :)
For your second problem, I have no idea. Sorry.

They should be in sync, if they have same hardware, same soft and configuration and same place in your network arch.

Yes, of course, for the 2nd one.
