Easy setup, is auto reconnect to much to setup?

Hi I have VLC server setup like this and in stream settings is this
What else must I do to make client auto reconnect to server if server looses connection to client.
We have setup like this. VLC-Streaming_server<>Cisco1800Xdsl<>Cisco1800xdsl<>VLC-Client .
Possibilie cutoffs are, Stream server restarts, VLC client restarts, cisco have no UPS neither the machines, dont ask why
