Hi Ive managed to setup VLC to stream Microphone In audio to vlc client with 1 sec delay.

I used default settings:

Code: Select all

v4l:// :v4l-dev= :v4l-adev= :v4l-standard=0 :file-caching=0

Code: Select all

:sout=#transcode{acodec=mpga,ab=128,channels=2}:duplicate{dst=rtp{dst=10.0.1.50,mux=ts,port=1234}}
Is it possibile to get lower latency?

No luck :(. I try to achieve as low as i can, I have small radio station and only way I can link studio with transmitter is 1Mbps leased line. So it is not over internet, ping is 1ms.

Although 1 sec delay is OK I wonder if I can make it lower.
