This is not a problem, would just like to say how fantastic this software is.

I am able to take a udp mpeg2 Transport stream and 're-boadcast' this unicast h.264 to remote DSS for multicast playback in Quicktime Player.

Using VLC RC 1.00 on Win 32

Had this up and running perfectly for over a week now. Very happy with the results, so happy I came back onto the forum to let you know and thank all those reponsible for VLC Player, which I have been using as prefered player for all my media for years, but only just looked seriously into using it for streaming. took a while to get the config script working for .sdp output etc., but that got fixed thank's to the forum.

I was also looking for a 'donate' button, I know this is open source, but the developers deserve something for such a great tool.

Thanks :D

Can you detail how you made it work?

I've been trying to stream either dshow or my desktop using VLC running on an XP machine to a fedora machine running DSS. (I couldn't get DSS to compile on XP.) I would love to see how you got it working with the mpeg2 udp stream.
