Hello

Using VideoLAN I have been able to capture Multicast UDP based audio streams. I can capture it to a file.

However I am looking to capture to a file type that can be replayed by Windows Media or other PC applications.

Having no success in making this work.

Anyone have any suggestions or played with this.

Let me know.

Thanks

the easiest is probably to convert the file after the capture is finished. otherwise you could try to play with the stream output features of vlc. To get more help you really need to give more details. (which codec does teh streams use, how do you do the capture now, what have you tried that didn't work etc.)
