VLC wich is the audio/video encoder ?

Hi guys,

VLC use FFMPEG for encode audio and video ?

or the libavcodec for video and libfaac for audio ?

I am a little bit confuse :-| :-|

It depends on the codec.

If I encode video with vcodec=h264 and acodec=mp4a wich encoder I'm using? :oops:

x264 for h264
mp4a, libfaac through FFmpeg.
