Push Audio to device

Hi. If this topic has been posted, please forgive me. I searched but could not find one. I am trying to do the opposite of what many of the readers are trying to do -- I want to push audio to a camera. Does anyone know of a way to do this? HTTP streaming won't work that I know of, and I don't know how to push it out.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

That's kind of dependent on what the camera can do...

It's an Axis camera. I can use a microphone and through IE (with a DLL loaded) my voice is transmitted. I wanted to push a pre-recorded message to the speakers attached to the camera. Again, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi. It's an Axis 216FD. I think that all of the Axis cameras have the same properties regarding audio (other then some support full duplex and some only support half duplex). If you can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Well according to the user manual (
here) it supports a large variety of protocols such as RTSP, RTP, UDP etc. Perhaps one could stream along to the device using the configured port and protocol it might work.

Thanks. I have read the manual; however, I cannot determine a way to push the audio to the camera and have it successfully receive it and play the audio. I have sniffed the wire and done all of the things I know how to do. What I need is specific information on how to set VLC up to do it. The camera doesn't listen on any port other than TCP 80 (or TCP 443), and I can only get audio to it using a web browser with the Axis Active X control loaded. Thanks again.
