ANY OTHER good streaming software?? My card no like VLC

Postby inndention » 08 Oct 2008 22:10

My ASUS PE9400 card does not like VLC... I dont want to get into it x.x ...

ANY OTHER good streaming software? Shoutcast was too low quality .. bleh

THIS STREAM WILL BE BROADCAST ON LIVE cable TV and broadcast TV 3 HRs per day!!

I have a constant 1300Kb/s to work with.

This is a dedicated stream that will run 24/7..

My card seems to work with all the other software I have tried but some software is just too limiting.

The best I have found so far is Webcam 1-2-3 and I have sucessfully sent a 1200k/s WMP9 stream but that is the only format the software supports.

ANY SUGGESTIONS of good streaming software for an ANALOG COMPOSITE video input would be LOVELY! Somthing that encodes MPEG4 would be GREAT!

google has only led me to a bunch of total crap software..!

I am willing to purchase software if it can do what I need it to.

Hi,

You can use AXIS video encoders for MPEG4 encoding. Then you can mux the video and stream it with VLC 0.8.f without any problem. Are you from US? Then look for resellers here.

Thank you for your help. We want to do this on a PC not on a dedicated video box.

Can anyone suggest a good capture card for VLC?

Anyone know any other stream from live source software I can use to stream some mpeg4 content?
