I suppose an "STB" stands for some kind of IP-TV set-top. What access protocol, codec and format it uses then?

Amino Set-Top-Boxes should not show you "loading" longer than the initializing time imo. It should show you a web-browser interface after this "loading" screen.
Is your STB ready for use? I think you can buy it with and without all firmware downloaded into the box.
If your STB is not ready for use, maybe you will have to give it fresh boot and filesystem images. I know it can be done through multicast tools (with a customized DHCP) on IP. But before sending them to the box, they have to be generated with amino software utilities.
Once your STB ready, you will be able to use the STB browser to ask it to read streams.
NB: I have been said that using VLC 0.9.0 give better results.

Well, I think my STB Amino 110 doesn't have a firmware.
So, how can I get it?
I just buy STB in shop.
And where I can get mcastboot?
