DVB streaming

I need help on the DVB streaming.
I have a Linux server with a DVB card, so I can capture satellite signal. I have VLC with DVB drivers installed on it. I know I can stream to the network.
However, my remote clients need to watch the stream, and I don't know their IPs. So I can't use unicast nor multicast (they might be connected to any wired or wireless network).
The best would be if they could receive the stream as http or maybe rtsp.
Any help to solve this is appreciated.

I guess I'm in the same boat as you.
What would be great would be for a "Newbie's Guide"
for streaming from my server to clients on the web...
if there is such a guide available, it would be greatly
appreciated if someone could point me in the right
direction.

My local area network is setup great, but I really
would like to stream to clients on the web.
I'm using Windows XP and a router.

Thanks in advance,

Fugly :D

The answer is in the question: use TS over HTTP or TS over RTSP streaming, as in the Streaming howto.

Note that you can only stream channels from a single DVB transponder at any given moment, since your DVB card probably has only one frequency tuner.

Try to watch viewtopic.php?f=4&t=33135#p137434 . Accepting & streaming out 2 channels, but it's no problem to add more channels, if u want to.
