Multicast to Windows Media Player clients

Postby t1 » 24 Aug 2004 14:50

I'm relatively new to VLC and was wondering if it is possible to use the VLC stream ouput to multicast to Windows Media Player (or in fact custom DirectShow based) clients, for synchronized playback? If so, could someone give me some hints on how to configure this?

Is there a DirectShow filter available one can use with the UDP output from VLC?

Thanks,
