Streaming Video/ FTP

Postby jambo » 21 Aug 2004 21:21

Is it possible to dynamically upload a video stream to an FTP server (i.e. using it as a peer)?

I want to be able to broadcast a video feed from my home connection. But due to bandwidth constraints, would only be able to have 1 or 2 simultaneous viewers.

I have a domain with 1gb of storage and 20gb bandwidth allowance p/m.

Server >> [288kbps upload] >> FTP Server >> [--please stay polite-- loads of upload] >> Client(s)

Possible?

Thanks in advance.
