Streaming from Windows Media Server via VLC to WMP on Vista

Hello,
I've got a setup whith a webcam connected to a Windows Vista Box with Windows media encoder 9 (Stream is available as mms). This stream is redistributed via VLC in a hosting center with the asfh muxer and mmsh output protocol.
So far eveything is working fine (VLC and Windows Media Player are showing the stream in a window and fullscreen in Windows XP), but viewing the stream in Windows Media Player under Vista gives a black video, the audio is working properly. When switching to fullscreen the video is shown. Switching Windows Media Player back to window mode makes the picture turn black again.
Viewing the stream directory from the Vista encoder works without a problem, so the problem should be the demuxing/remuxing of the stream.
Has anybody seen this behaviour, and can give me a clue what is going on?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Sebastiaan Smit
