Hi,
is there a way to continously capture the screen of the current PC and stream it to the network?
With inputsource screen:// I'd get only one Image and with --loop it stops also after a few seconds.

screen:// has many parameters (you don't need to loop). What OS are you using?
(on linux the params are:
Code: Select all
Screen Input
--screen-caching <integer> Caching value in ms
Caching value for screen capture. This value
should be set in milliseconds.
--screen-fps <float> Frame rate
Desired frame rate for the capture.

I've got about the same problem exept that I can watch "screen://" if I don't stream it, when I stream it, it's just black and my server doesn't display anything.
My setup:
Notebook with windows xp as server
old desktop with gentoo linux as client
I connected my desktop to my tv and sound system, because I hate plugging in and out all the cables to my notebook.
Streaming works fine with files but I'd like to stream other content, i.e. music that is not played by vlc or games.
How can I do that?
