streaming to an Xbox360?

Hi,

Couple of questions.
1) Can any part of VLC be used to stream video to an Xbox 360?

Apparently Windows media player 11 can do this, but I'm having real problems with some AVIs that I'd like to stream. I can play the vids with VLC, but I can't play them with WMP. I get pictures but no sound. It seems like the k-lite codecs are needed to play this movie, and I've installed them, but I still can't get WMP to work.

So in short, I can watch the vids through VLC, which is great. But for me to watch them on the Xbox 360 I need to solve the problem with the missing codecs, and then I will need to convert the files to WMV format. So, what can I do? How do I fix the codec problem, and how do I convert them to WMV?

Hope you can help,

jon
