Hi,

Does anybody have experience in integrating VLC Player with the DRM vendors. That is I have a DRM encrypted content i wanted to Decrypt the content and show it to the user on VLC Player. Is there any possiblity to make the extensions to VLC source to acomplish this task.

So if anybody has done this before , pls guide me in doing that.

I don't if this is the right forum to ask this question. Pls guide me.

Thx in advance.

HI ,

Let me tell you, we access to the DRM vendors drivers and stuff and we have an agreement with the DRM vendors. Then in that case i don't think it is illegal. or Is It Illegal still??

The specifics of this integration will depend very much on the specifics of the DRM system and it's client implementation - This integration should not be particularly difficult as the modularisation of the VLC codebase reduces the scope of code where code needs to be modified and updated.
