late buffer for mux input - how to cope with it?

I streaming from the other streaming source and after 5 minutes of streaming I receive:

[00000307] main private warning: late buffer for mux input (1211721)

how to fix it?

I'm having the exact same problem. I've searched the forums and have found no fewer that 7 other threads reporting the same exact problem No replies. No resolution. :(

I'm streaming from a firewire camcorder. Everything is fine - so long as there is no motion in the video image. When the camera is moved for any period of time, or the source subject has a lot of movement in it, the wonderful "main private warning: late buffer for mux input " error comes up and streaming ceases after about 20 seconds. I have to quit VLC on the server and restart it.

I've tried to reduce the resolution of the video... that does not fix it either.

What gives guys? How do I work around this?
