Is H.264 rtp payload supported by vlc?

Is H.264 rtp payload supported by vlc? If I try to create a H264 rtp stream I get this Message:
After searching the forum I found this:

Is support for H.264 rtp payload planned?
I used vlc 0.8.5."stream_out_rtp private error: cannot add this stream (unsupported codec:H264)"
