Hi. I tried everything that1s possible in VLC preferences, but it seems that VLC cannot play any of my subtitles. I know all of them are working because I use them with Realplayer and Windows Media Player.
Anything I can do??
Thank you.

I kind of fixed part of the problem now.
At SETTINGS => PREFERENCES => INPUT CODECS => OTHER CODECS => SUBTITLE,
I changed the SUBTITLES TEXT ENCODING for VISCII, and now the subtitle is appearing on the screen and it's written correctly.
But, there is still one problem with the subtitle.
EVERYTIME I open a video file I need to right click on the screen select SUBTITLE TRACK, and then select the subtitle file I had together with the video file. I want that to go automatically. Does anyone know how to do that??

Well, I was wrong. The above is not my only problem. When I open a video file by just click twice on it, VLC opens, but this VLC doesn't accept or recognize my subtitle. The right click option SUBTITLE TRACK doesn't appear anymore one the screen!!!!! Don't ask me why... If I open VLC from the windows MENU, all programs, everything works just fine... Except that I need to activate the subtitle manually everytime. But, if I open VLC clicking twice on a video file the subtitle option vanishes!!!
Many problems here man....
I really liked the interface, the size and the speedy of VLC, but it really needs to impove A LOT its interface and a few main features that all video players have

Again, friend, if this isn't the category... Where is it? For me VLC Stream-output é the category for this kind of problems.
