Multicast Issue
Posted: 01 May 2006 16:59
I am able to stream unicast, but unable to multicast.
VLC is 0.8.5-test3
Input is PVR using ivtv 0.6.1
3rd party libraries installed:
executing vlc with:
I can multicast a stream from precompiled vlc-0.8.4-test1/Win32 on the same network, but my compiled executable on Fedora Core5 will only unicast. I've had this running before, but wasn't doing any transcoding. Now I need smaller streams, and decided I would scrap a working setup and rebuild with the latest libraries and vlc. I'm kicking myself! I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I'm driving myself batty!
Many Thanks,
Scott
