hi there! i am currently using vlc vor remote watching tv. therefore it is necessary to reencode the direct-show signal somehow, e.g. mpeg1/mp3 with bitrate 384/16. currently i am doing this on a 2,4 GHz with 512 MB RAM, wich works really fine.
can anyone tell me the minimum cpu requirements, which I'd need for this operation. will it work on a 500MZh Processor with 384MB RAM? (Windows XP - Classic look)
