Does duplicate create synchronised streams.

Postby jboileau » 20 Dec 2005 22:22

If I use the duplicate module to split a movie into two streams: one for the video and one for all the audio tracks, will the two streams be synchronised?

I need to send the video to one subsystem (one IP address) and the audio tracks (3 languages) to another. One will display the video and the other will distribute the audio to headphones with selection for the audio track. Duplicate can split the two but I need to know if they will be synchronised. I have tried the es module but, probably due to a bug, all the audio tracks are mixed into one!
