Is there other way to stream from VLC to WMP then DIV3/MP3?

hello,

question like in the topic.

I have some problems with compilation of VLC, described here:
viewtopic.php?t=14887

I want to start stream to WMP from vlc on Debian. As You know vlc from debian packet can't encode in mp3, so...Instead wasting so many hours for compile problems I should try to send stream for WMP in some other way.

Thank for ANY help.

regards

i guess that something like wma2 should work. You can also try using a debian nightly build from http://nightlies.videolan.org which should feature mp3 encoding.

Thank You VERY MUCH! This is great:

I will check if wma2 is working, but for now I can say that mp3 encoding in these builds works perfect...

thanks again :-D
