I'm lost in options and need help.
I want to stream the desktopscreen of my PC with VLC to another computer. I want to watch this stream live. Both are on the same network, and connected to this network by cable.

So, on my pc, I open VLC-> choose stream -> choose desktop-> but then..? I need to choose a target... which one should I choose? My options are:
file
http
ms-wsmp
rtsp
rtp mpeg transport system
rtp audio video profile
udp
icecast?

Can anybody put me on the right track?

It is possible to stream any Windows PC desktop with VLC to any streaming device or other PC. You just need to use a different version of VLC. There is a YT how to "desktop stream windows 7". You just need to select ctrl n on the pc you want to view the stream on and input the IP of the source PC:Port/path
