How can I do to improve the transmission speed?

I configured a server and a client using the VLC, they communicate through millimeter waves and their IPs are 10.0.0.4 and 10.0.0.6.
But the video transmission speed only reached 200k/s in UDP and RTSP, which is far from the actual millimeter wave transmission speed.
What can I do to improve the transmission speed? Do I need to configure the parameters programmatically?
