Problem to stream and keep it open error in the wiki ? (and also two quality stream).

Postby bussiere » 20 Mar 2016 17:21

I'am under ubuntu 14.04 and i would like to stream an m3U and i used this command on the wiki :
https://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation ... _Examples/

vlc -vvv test.m3u -sout-keep-sout=#transcode{acodec=mp3}:duplicate{dst=display{delay=6000},dst=gather:std{mux=mpeg1,dst=:8080/stream.mp3,access=http},select="novideo"}

or

vlc -vvv test.m3u -sout -keep-sout=#transcode{acodec=mp3}:duplicate{dst=display{delay=6000},dst=gather:std{mux=mpeg1,dst=:8080/stream.mp3,access=http},select="novideo"}

but at the end i have :

Documentation looks fine. What you pasted does not look fine.
