wmv(1+2) encoding -> bug?!

hi!

following problem: i use vlc 0.8.4-test1 on debian sarge with latest ffmpeg-cvs (both compiled from scratch) to grab video from my tvcard and encode it to wmv.
everything works perfect if you choose a videobitrate less or equal than 96kbps. but if you change it to e.g. 256kbps and play the file in windows meda player 10 or windows media player classic there will be breaks in the video stream - means that the sound is working correctly but the video periodicaly paused some ms or some s and you'll see only a still image. the duration of such pause is getting larger with higher videobitrates.
if i play the file in vlc for windows everything is normal and there are no breaks...

strange...

maybe a ffmpeg problem!?

Bitrate problem

I also found that if I encode a wmv using vlc and try to stream the file using darwing server to wmplayer, the reported bitrate to wmplayer is wrong. A file encoded at video bitrate of 100kbps shows in wmplayer properties at 756 kpbs. But if I play the file locally, the bitrate shows ok.

Can You make me some advise - how do You stream vmw to Darwin?
I found, that WMP shows _decoded_ bitrate of stream, while playing any network streams.
