Suggest Hardware for a Live TV Stream.

Postby valtea » 30 Sep 2005 18:17

I wanted to stream a Live TV Using winXP as the server in my LAN with about 300 clients (mostly winxp)

I have tested with VLC 0.8.2 and 0.8.4 both displays my Streamed TV Upside Down and I have checked most of the settings. I am using Snazio TVR as the Hardware.

Rightnow i have managed somehow by installing VLC to the clients and then seetting the transformation into FLip type to their clients.

I wanted to make it easy for my clients so that they can use Windows Media Player and play it directly.

If there is someone who have successfully streamed Live TV on a network. Please suggest me a Hardware to use.
