Sending events from VLC streaming server to VLC Client

Hi guys,

I am trying to generate event from VLC streaming server to notify the VLC client that a event has occured at the server side and once client get to know the event and it continues with an event handler functions. I am uisng UDP/RTP protocol for streaming. How to generate an event in VLC (server) and send it to client?

Can anyone help me in this issue.

You need to notify out of band.
