Streaming to LAN with webcam, no video

I'm trying to stream webcam video to LAN using Logitech C615.
I've been able to stream a video file using http and rtsp, so I think I'm good with the basic streaming, but when I try to stream a Capture Device, I cannot view the stream?
I'm using VLC to view the stream and I can see the timer counting on the lower left, but no video.
I've tried several transcoding options and no transcoding. Output of the C615 should be H.264.
I can see a OK video on the streaming computer. A little jumpy.
I have very little experience with streaming, so any help is very much appreciated.

If you are using windows, I can't help you, because I don't know how to use it.

But if your using linux then there is hope and thousands of examples out there for you.
