is there somewhere an example how to Stream Audio from VLC to NodeJS,
please?

I just tried to stream the output of VLC to nodejs via stout.

As alternative I also tried to use VLC as source client for IceCast but find out that no metadata are forwarded to IceCast see:

Is there a way to get the current Playback position of VLC ? that way i could manage the Metadata manually according to the current playback position.
