VLC streaming to Roku1 ?

Is it possible to use VLC player to Stream media (movies and utubes) to a Roku1? If so, how do I go about it.
I have VLS on my PC which is running XP pro and I have a wireless router. I have the Roku1 and I can connect it to my old TV.
