Hi my IP at home is 84.68.88.88, when i create a VLC stream to broadcast from home do I use 84.68.88.88 as the destination address? so i can watch from another location...or do i need to use the destination address (IP) of the computer in another location (work) to stream to?? What I ideally want is to stream live TV from my home 84.68.88.88 to a couple of friends computers, but am a little confused as to where to stream to! do i use their IPs or my home one for them to leech from? Mank thanks in advance!!

You can stream in http like http://www.videolan.org/doc/streaming-h ... l#id296791
in this example you use your ip and people connect to your ip.

You can also stream the file directly to the ip of the clients in unicast like
http://www.videolan.org/doc/streaming-h ... l#id296647

Be careful that the bandwidth will increase with the number of clients.
